Postel Mail (brand: Postel) is a native Gmail client for macOS made by BNFY. Its tagline is “Email that minds its own business”: mail travels directly between the user’s Mac and Gmail, no BNFY server reads, stores, or relays it, and tracking pixels are blocked by default. The name honors Jon Postel’s robustness principle from RFC 761 (1980) — conservative in what it sends, liberal in what it accepts.
